The YubiKey is a device created by DDC’s partner Yubico that works as a form of verification for MFA. It is a type of physical security key.
The YubiKey is FIDO-certified and works with Google Chrome and any FIDO-compliant application on Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. With a YubiKey, you can secure your login and protect your Gmail, Facebook, Dropbox, Outlook, LastPass, 1Password accounts, and more. Yubikeys can be used to turn on Google's Advanced Protection Program (APP) the strongest authentication security Google offers.
YubiKeys have several different model options: USB-A, USB-C, lightning, and bluetooth. Their website takes you through a series of questions to help you decide which key is right for you.
