Managed Security Service Providers, often referred to as  MSSPs, bundle cybersecurity services together and provide outsourced management and monitoring of the computers and devices in your network. They can be thought of as your remote cybersecurity professionals.

Instead of buying several products individually, an MSSP will provide a suite of services to every device. Services often include endpoint protection, managed firewall, intrusion detection, virtual private network, and vulnerability scanning.

They also monitor network activity for potentially harmful incidents, mitigate problems remotely when they can, or contact the campaign or organization when something needs to be done in-house with ways to remedy the issue.

Fees are usually charged per device per month.
