Protecting your Yahoo email account with strong authentication is easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Account Security page.
2. Next to "2-step verification," click Turn on 2SV.
3. Click Get started.
4. Select Phone number for your 2-step verification method.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
